10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Bray Wyatt

3. Hell In A Cell 2019

Sorry in advance, because this should make you shudder.

Hell In A Cell used to be one of the best gimmick bouts in all of wrestling. Then, WWE turned the stip into an annual pay-per-view and crudely forced feuds into the cage because it just happened to be October. Mercifully, this 2019 Wyatt and Seth Rollins rivalry seemed to merit the HIAC treatment (if only barely).

Hiccups in the build, like Rollins invading the 'Fun House', could've been justified had the pair worked an absolute stormer inside the Cell, but no. WWE, fatally for the story, booked a non-finish come pay-per-view time. To say fans in Sacramento weren't best-pleased with that would be a gross understatement.

Social media blew up about this creative own goal too. It, rather sadly, was another step backwards for The 'Fiend' when he really needed to be kicking ass, taking names and devouring all in his path like an unstoppable monster.
