10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Bray Wyatt

4. Chargrilled ‘Fiend’

WWE were blatantly slinging sh*t at the nearest wall to see what might stick when someone popped a hand up during meetings and offered, 'What if Randy Orton sets Bray Wyatt on fire at TLC 2020?'. Apparently, nobody had any better ideas, because that's exactly what happened on the pay-per-view.

Well, sort of anyway.

Bray didn't do a full-body impression of Kane from 1998 though. Nah, WWE replaced the real deal with a dummy and set that ablaze instead. The problem was that...the thing already looked chargrilled before Orton hurled a match at it. Did they have to re-tape this bit or something?

Worse, the company doubled down on a barbecued 'Fiend' by bringing a crispy variant back at Fastlane 2021. This torched version then magically restored itself to former glory in time for WrestleMania 37, because of course it did.

For the record, none of this did anything to make Wyatt look like more than Alexa Bliss' puppet.
