10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Bray Wyatt
8. He Was Mediocre In NXT
The final results of NXT Season 2 make for bizarre reading. The winner of the entire show was Kaval (better known as independent wrestling stalwart Low Ki), who lasted barely three months on WWE television before being released from his contract. Second was Michael McGillicutty, who has never really managed to get his Curtis Axel character over, despite numerous attempts and stop/start pushes.
Wyatt, under the Husky Harris gimmick, finished fourth of the eight competitors on the show. He flirted with elimination on a regular basis, and could have found himself booted from the show at the very first hurdle - only to be spared at the expense of Titus O'Neil (another main roster mainstay).
WWE certainly wouldn't be keen for fans to remember Wyatt's underwhelming beginnings, particularly as he is now portrayed as one of the most intimidating men on the entire roster.
