10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Christian

7. Edge & Christian Used To Be Brothers

Watch how Edge and Christian interact when they're on WWE television now. They're just the best of friends who grew up together dreaming of headlining WrestleMania and winning World Titles, right?

That's not the story fans were told back when both burst onto the scene in the late-90s, and it's never been explained to anyone why WWE decided, hey, these Canadian dudes aren't brothers, they're just good pals. This didn't only become a thing post-retirement either. It's been going on for years, and it's weird.

Even before Edge was forced to walk away from the ring for good in 2011, WWE's announcers stopped calling he and Christian siblings full stop. To anyone watching since they were part of The Brood, this was hard to understand.

How can two people go from being brothers to chums? If they were bound by blood (and we're not talking about Gangrel here), then there's nothing WWE could do to change that. It'd be like if SmackDown's writers just decided Jimmy and Jey Uso weren't family today.

Nobody would buy that.
