3. The Mick Foley Angle That Never Was

Ambrose has already drawn comparisons with a number of WWE legends - more for his character than actual wrestling style - including 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper and Brian Pillman. Chief among these is Mick Foley, who shares a wild, untamed appearance and apparent disregard for his own personal safety. A feud between the two has often been cited as a dream match-up - but it actually almost happened for real in 2012. In a strange worked-shoot angle, Ambrose (then only a member of FCW) confronted Foley at the WrestleMania team hotel in Miami. He demanded that Mick be "held accountable" for leading a generation astray, before being led away by security. The fact that WWE appear to have blocked video footage of the event seems to suggest that the brief storyline won't be rekindled any time soon.
