Speaking of superstars WWE wouldn't really like to stand out on Ambrose's past record, he once had a 30-minute Iron Man match with CM Punk. The Straight Edge Superstar was making a guest appearance at a 2011 FCW house show, and accepted Dean's challenge. By all accounts, their bout (which Punk narrowly won) was spectacular. The former WWE Champion even cut a post-match promo paying tribute to his opponent. Despite being a highlight of Dean's pre-main roster career, it's not a match that will likely be revisited by WWE any time soon, given Punk's acrimonious departure and eventual firing.
