What do Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre have in common? Well, they're all fine performers in their own rights. They've also put up with a boat load of crap at times in WWE. Case in point: The so-called 'Dogs Of War', a three-pronged group designed to decimate The Shield.

Or, it could be summed up as another example of, "Creative has nothing else for you".

In total, Dolph, Drew and Braun lasted approx one month between September-October 2018. Strowman felt tacked on to the already-successful Drew and Dolph team, and his heel turn didn't feel at all realistic or wanted by fans. It was a mediocre marriage of convenience just to fill some TV time.

WWE probably want everyone to forget that the stable was over in the blink of an eye, or that it didn't serve any purpose beyond jobbing to The Shield. As far as factions go, this was Social Outcasts more than nWo, and it was another mis-step in Dolph's career.
