10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Hulk Hogan

5. Shawn Michaels Mocking His Trademark Moves

Hulk's next go-around in WWE was against Shawn Michaels in 2005. Months after being inducted into the Hall Of Fame before WrestleMania 21, Hogan went one-on-one with HBK at SummerSlam and beat him clean. The entire build and some spots in the match itself are memorable for Michaels trolling the hell out of Hulkamania.

Just clap eyes on that .gif above and tell us that Shawn wasn't unhappy about doing the job for Hogan on WWE's second-biggest pay-per-view of the year.

Although this was a clash of styles for sure, it was also a match WWE couldn't pass up. They had the star of the '80s against one of their most cherished workhorses of the '90s, the latter of whom had managed to make a stunning comeback from injury. It had to happen, but WWE probably wish Shawn hadn't taken liberties.

His overselling made a mockery of Hulk's trademark offence, had people in the front rows giggling themselves silly and clearly flustered Hogan too. This, despite Hogan's big win, wasn't quite the respectful epic WWE presented it as.
