10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Jeff Hardy

8. His Final Feud Was Going Nowhere

Being honest, it's not like WWE's current creative team had anything special in mind for Hardy anyway. Sure, maybe he would've worked Reigns at some point in the near future, but that's all guesswork. There's been no hint of a sustained push since Jeff moved to SmackDown in the 2021 Draft, that's for sure.

The guy has been teaming on and off with Drew McIntyre against goofy duo Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss, for crying out loud. That going-nowhere tag feud is hardly the kind of thing that preps wrestlers for a Universal Title push, is it?

In fact, the most notable part of this story is that Drew and Jeff looked like buff extras from Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal' video during a recent episode of blue brand telly. Yep, don't be fooled by ideas that Hardy ruined some brilliant booking by falling victim to his demons again.

His SmackDown run wasn't cutting it.
