10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Jeff Hardy

7. ‘No More Words’ Made No Difference

'It's about damn time they brought back that killer theme for Jeff Hardy'.

Comments like that were ten-a-penny on social media for years. Fans desperately wanted to see WWE secure the rights to Jeff's 'No More Words' track. You know the one - it had that slow-but-immediately-recognisable tom-led intro, and rocketed into a kick ass riff. It was defo a hallmark of Hardy's World Title push in 2008-2009.

Finally, WWE brought it back into earshot this year, and...nothing special happened. The theme, popular or not, made little difference to Jeff's standing in the company. Any thoughts that 'No More Words' would suddenly reinvigorate Hardy's run or turn the clock back over a decade were dashed within weeks.

WWE's booking didn't reflect the swell of support for the tune. It didn't help that the company often cut Jeff's entrances short so they could cut to commercial on Raw and SmackDown. So much for 'No More Words' being some big saviour, eh?
