10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About John Morrison

10. He Failed His Audition For Tough Enough 2

The handsome smile John Hennigan wore when clutching his coveted (ahem) Tough Enough 3 trophy showed that WWE had made the right call. They deserved praise for recognising that Hennigan was a star-in-the-making, and they could pat themselves on the back for some fine talent scouting.

Sod that. They could've had John boy a season earlier.

That's right, Mr. Hennigan had previously tried out for the show's second season, but failed the audition. Apparently, someone in WWE didn't think that a Hollister smile, washboard abs and enough athletic ability to make Will Ospreay green with envy would cut it back in 2002. They'd soon change their minds.

Hennigan went on to bag the Tough Enough 3 crown with Matt Cappotelli and pave his path towards WWE fame. Either TE 2 came slightly too early, or some talent scout needed a boot in the plums for letting JoMo slip through the net.
