Here's something else you might've forgotten about.

In 2007, right as he starting to gain some steam on the already-lagging ECW brand, John Morrison was hit with a 30-day suspension for violating WWE's Wellness Policy. Rumours swirled online that Morrison had been caught as part of the Signature Pharmacy scandal alongside others like Mr. Kennedy and Chris Masters.

The rumours suggested he'd been purchasing human growth hormone online, but the story obviously wasn't something WWE fancied letting talent talk about during media scrums. Morrison kept fairly quiet about it all, skipped 30 days of work and was back feuding with CM Punk like nothing had happened a month later.

This isn't something WWE will bring up again unless it fits the narrative in a documentary (if they're even interested in running a 24 special on someone like JoMo). His Wellness Policy violation will be treated like a ghost of the past.
