10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Kaitlyn

That WWE comeback nearly never happened.

In late-2016, Kaitlyn's life had spiralled into a mess of drugs and alcohol. She entered rehab to kick old habits, only to find that booze was an easy way to deal with depression and anxiety. In an interview with The Sun, she admitted that she "wanted to die" when celebrating her 30th birthday.

This isn't something WWE will want to openly discuss when hyping up her imminent return for the second Mae Young Classic special. The promotion consider themselves a family friendly outfit who bend over backwards to appease major shareholders and corporate sponsors. Talk of talent almost dying due to rampant drug abuse is hardly fun.

Thankfully, Kaitlyn is in a much better place mentally than she was a few years ago. It's brave of somebody in the public limelight to be so candid about their problems too, especially when they're about to make a grand return to WWE.

Go get 'em, girl.
