10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Kaitlyn

8. ... And She Wasn't Even First Choice

Making things worse, Kaitlyn wasn't actually supposed to be part of NXT's third season at first.

No, near seven foot giant Aloisia was originally earmarked as Vickie Guerrero's "Rookie Diva" for the show, and she would've become the tallest woman ever to work for WWE. When apparent nude photos surfaced of her online, the company pulled Aloisia from the gig and replaced her with, you guessed it, Kaitlyn.

The main problem here was that WWE had already announced Aloisia on TV and spent time building her up as a firm favourite for the competition. Kaitlyn, by comparison, stood around 5'5" and didn't quite have the unique appeal her predecessor did. At the time, her arrival was treated like a disappointment.

To recap, poor Kaitlyn was part of a dying concept, had to deal with audiences who neither cared about the faux-reality game show vibe or her character, and she wasn't presented as Vickie's first choice for the role anyway.

No wonder this sh*t flopped.
