10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Nia Jax

Companies should be held accountable for their flaws, and calling them out on their transgressions can endear employees to the public. But that doesn't mean the company appreciates being put in a position where they're criticized and put on blast. After all, the entire purpose of public relations and marketing is to make you think everything is the best thing ever, all the time!

Two instances where Nia Jax berated WWE on a public forum were arguably entirely justified, but you're never going to hear any praise from management about her words.

One came about at the tail end of 2018 when WWE tweeted a set of four images, saying "There's no denying it. The women of @WWE BROUGHT IT in 2018!" featuring seven white Superstars. Jax, in a now-deleted tweet, responded "#WeHereToo" with emojis symbolizing women of color for not being represented in this shout-out.

WWE may have not even realized the tweet only featured white women, but regardless if it was intentional or not, would certainly not want to call attention to this.

Likewise, in April 2022, Athena (formerly Ember Moon) spoke in an interview with Chris Van Vliet about how WWE had a two-hour meeting instructing women to dress in a more sexually explicit way, similar to Mandy Rose.

Jax, who was gone from WWE at the time, didn't directly respond to Moon, but seemingly echoed her support, in another now-deleted tweet stating "It's a shame, some people deserve to get the opportunity to shine like the star they really are, but unfortunately certain higher ups can never see past their own perverted ways. Too bad, there aren't the lucky ones who can use blackmail to keep their jobs. *random tweet*"

Considering all the bad publicity WWE has underwent in recent years - from Vince McMahon's sexual assault allegations and lawsuit - anything giving weight to that perception from the company's management would be severely suppressed for fear of adding more fuel to the fire.
