10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Rusev

6. The Entire Enzo Amore Feud

There was nothing good about Rusev and Lana's feud with Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Nothing.

It started in November 2016. A naked Enzo was shut out of his locker-room, and ran into Lana in the hallway. Rusev eventually showed up, and was understandably upset that this nude weirdo was coming onto his wife, yet WWE somehow painted him as the villain. 'The Bulgarian Brute' squashed Amore later in the evening, but that wasn't the end of it. Enzo's lusting continued, and he stuck his nose in an argument between Rusev and Lana two weeks later. This ended in Lana inviting Amore back to his hotel room, where Rusev sprung a perfectly justifiable trap, beating the tar out of the little twerp before he could get comfortable.

A series of cringe-worthy sensitivity training segments followed, before Jinder Mahal entered the fray. Cass and Enzo triumphed in the end, so not only was Rusev presented as a bad guy for standing up for his wife's honour, but he didn't even get his own back.

It was one of the dumbest feuds WWE have booked in years, and a gross misuse of Rusev and Lana, who should be above such nonsense.
