10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Sasha Banks

6. The Bayley 'Frenemies' Story Dragged On And On

Sasha and Bayley have been linked since their days together on NXT. Their friendship is a natural one, and fans were excited to see that continue on the main roster when Bayley made her way up in 2016. Sadly for supporters of both women, WWE's writers dropped the ball on it spectacularly, and somehow succeeded in making most wish it'd go away.

That 'Frenemies' angle, one which had tension, teased heel turns and therapy sessions, flat out dragged.

OK, so it led to Banks and Bayley forming The Boss N' Hug Connection and becoming the first Women's Tag-Team Champs of the modern era, but there was a lot of heartache before that. Creative's grand plan for the story seemed to be playing out the same scenarios weekly and expecting people to give a damn.

After a while, Sasha and her on/off pal were coming out to almost zero reaction from the fans. That was a far cry from how over they'd been before the whole sorry saga started.
