Sasha has repeatedly stated during interviews that she's never been interested in working on 'Total Divas'. She told Pro Wrestling Sheet in 2016 that she doesn't have a problem with anyone who agrees to be involved, but it's just not her kinda' thing. No sh*t. The show represents everything Banks has strived to get away from since joining WWE.
It focuses on female melodrama and casts most of the women as airheads who bitch, moan and fawn after men. Whilst there are some breakout stories that cast them in a more progressive light, it's MTV-style car crash telly, and it's not something Sasha wants people to identify her with.
That hasn't stopped WWE management from asking if she'll bite the bullet and become a cast member. In an Instagram post (which has since been removed), Banks again repeated that she's worked her tail off to rid everyone of the 'Diva' name.
