10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Sasha Banks

In that 12 month period, Sasha failed to have even one successful title defence.

After first winning the prize on the 25 July 2016 episode of Raw, Banks dropped it back to Charlotte at SummerSlam. Then, again after winning on the 3 October Raw, Sasha was staring at the lights for Flair in the main event of Hell In A Cell. Her third reign, starting on the 28 November Raw, ended at Roadblock: End Of The Line at the first hurdle.

In 2017, she won the title from Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam before dropping it back to 'Little Miss Bliss' eight days later on the 28 August edition of Monday night's flagship. In short, her record in title defences is bloody shocking, and in no way depicts Sasha as a top female superstar who can hold her own with the other elites in the division.

Booking a popular babyface to continually fail to fend off any challenge was hardly going to maintain fan support. Whether some want to admit it or not, most people like winners; living vicariously through success is addictive, and Sasha has been written as a failure too many times.
