Cara's debut was not an aberration - it became apparent, in record time, that the poor bloke's confidence had been left in tatters following his terrible introduction. His 2011 matches were utterly plagued by botches. He became a laughing stock throughout year, beset by errors which included but were not limited to:

Forgetting the correct side with which to grapple Christian, resulting in him flailing on his shoulders like a kid being carried by his dad; missing Alex Riley by a clear foot with a match-ending moonsault; almost breaking his neck by landing on his head when performing a backflip taunt in a match against Michael McGillicutty; resuming hostilities with his nemesis, the top rope, by failing to clear it during a suicide senton at Survivor Series 2011, incurring a patellar tendon rupture in the process; botching La Mistica on Chavo Guerrero so badly that he almost broke both their necks...

Cara throughout 2011 couldn't time a move in a WWE ring to save his life, earning the nickname 'Botch Cara'.
