10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Sunny

3. Complaining About Rehab Provided By WWE

Sunny has been in and out of drug rehabilitation centers for much of her post WWE career. There's no way of really knowing how many times she's been in there, but it was a lot. For most of her treatments, WWE paid for it. That's part of the program they have where they take care of former employees. Apparently Sunny complained about it privately to WWE as well as publicly in some of her shooter interviews, so WWE issued a statement regarding Sunny in 2013.
"As part of the Former Talent Rehabilitation Program, WWE has sent Ms. Sytch to rehabilitation numerous times, with all costs covered by WWE. Unfortunately, Ms. Sytch has continued to make poor personal choices and is ultimately responsible for the consequences of these decisions. WWE has always provided rehabilitation at a certified treatment center; however, given Ms. Sytch€™s inability to change her lifestyle and successfully complete treatment, WWE will no longer fund her rehabilitation."
A reason why they got tired of supporting her is because she questioned the quality of the facility she was at and wondered when they would put Scott Hall in rehab 12 times while spending an amount in the six figures. WWE told her that she's "no Scott Hall" or something to that effect. In other words, she's not as important as a former top male star like Hall. Sunny got into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011. The guess here is that if she questioned the rehab program prior to 2011 the way she did in 2013 then she never would have got in there. Lucky for her in that regard.
