10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Teddy Long

4. He Agrees With Ryback

Recently, Ryback has been highly critical of the WWE system and outspoken on the subject via social media. The main crux of his issue with the company was over the pay scale, and how much talent are paid based on whether they win or lose. In Ryback's mind, that's a stupid way of doing things: he believes talent should be paid relative to their positioning on the card.

It's not difficult to see where he's coming from - wrestling matches are pre-determined after all. A performer cannot control whether or not they win or lose, so paying them less for being in the same spot as the winner seems a tad harsh.

That's something Teddy Long agrees with, as he told Pro Wrestling 24/7 he can certainly see where Ryback is coming from with his argument. He claimed that there were several instances - including one at WrestleMania - where he received less than he thought he would, and ended up feeling under-appreciated by management as a result.

This must be a sensitive issue in WWE at the moment, so they won't like the idea of ex-talent agreeing with Ryback's sentiments.
