10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Dudley Boyz
8. Their Decade In TNA
Like Kurt Angle, the marquee Hall of Fame inductee at last year's ceremony, the Dudley Boyz actually spent a larger portion of their careers competing in a TNA ring than they did a WWE one.
It's true: they were employed by WWE between 1999 and 2005, briefly returning for a late-career run in 2015. That's somewhere between six and seven years, compared to the decade that they spent on the books of TNA/Impact/whatever it's called now.
Regular WWE viewers will know that the company has, over recent years, taken a more relaxed approach to referencing "other" promotions. NJPW has been brought up once or twice, for example.
But TNA never seems to get much of a mention, which means that, in Bubba Ray and D-Von's Hall of Fame introduction, the years between 2005 and 2015 will probably be fleetingly referenced with the vaguest of descriptions possible. "They won titles all over the world." Yes, specifically Disney World, next to which the Impact Zone is located.
