10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The New Day

6. Social Media Shenanigans - Pt. 1

https://twitter.com/trentylocks/status/291718032886218752 Of all the members of the WWE roster, it's hard to overlook all three members of the New Day when deciding upon the most entertaining online presence. Xavier Woods' YouTube gaming channel continues to expand with each passing week, and the trio are all very active on Twitter. Unfortunately, social media has occasionally landed the boys in trouble, a prime example occurring immediately after the release of Trent Barreta in 2013. For reasons unknown, Barreta posted the above tweet after being released from his contract. Kofi (perhaps unwisely) decided to fire back, stating "I never wanted to shake hands with you...". Trent responded in kind, promising "We won't ever again". Despite portraying a heel, Kingston usually comes across as a genuinely nice guy in shoot interviews and the accounts of others. CM Punk's infamous story about getting pulled over portrayed Kofi as almost too agreeable, perfectly willing to go along with the wishes of a bullying police officer. Whatever Barreta's beef revolved around, this tweet - and Kofi's blunt reaction - perhaps cast a little doubt on Kingston's status as a bonafide Mr. Nice Guy.
