10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The New Day

6. Kofi's Fight With Vince

Nobody has ever accused Vince McMahon of being a conventional boss, but even by his standards getting into a physical scrap with an employee in the aisle of an airplane is, well, a bit on the unusual side.

That, however, is what we are led to believe - by a story told in one of Chris Jericho's 400 books - happened when the cast of WWE were boarding the chairman's private jet whilst hopping around the globe on promotional duty.

According to Y2J, it was his own, ahem, gentle encouragement that saw Kofi challenge Vince to an impromptu fight during their wait for take-off, apparently in a bid to prove that he was worthy of a place higher up the card.

It sounds like a bone-headed move on paper, but put yourself in the Jamaican Sensation's shoes. You're a young guy breaking into an uber competitive field, and Chris Jericho - the Chris Jericho - is bestowing you with words of perceived wisdom. You'd be a fool not to listen closely.

It's still a little embarrassing though, and if this really is the sort of workplace culture that predominates in the WWE empire, you can perhaps understand why some of its former employees have not parted on the most amicable of terms.
