10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Usos

8. NXT Demotion

Following the debut of Jimmy and Jey, they did not find much in the way of success on the main roster. Losing their initial feud with The Hart Dynasty, the twins floundered around the tag division before being brought into the gameshow version of NXT to square off with that seasons rookies.

While not a true demotion, as The Usos were still appearing on Raw and SmackDown, that changed once NXT was converted into WWE's developmental show in 2012. It was here where Jimmy and Jey found themselves demoted, trading Monday and Friday nights for the first episodes of NXT television filmed at Full Sail University. At these shows The Usos did not find much success either, losing to the teams that would later become The Ascension and The Prime Time Players.

Nowadays stars such as Finn Bàlor, Mandy Rose and others have used a move to NXT in order to revitalize their career in WWE. For Jimmy and Jey however, it was a case of a struggling team on the main roster being used to elevate the stars of tomorrow - and something the company will not be reminding fans of anytime soon.
