10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Toni Storm

1. Her Release Is A Worrying Sign

There could be a knock-on effect here.

WWE used to be the company to work for. In fact, at one point, it was the only means for pro wrestlers to make some decent income. In 2021, those days are over, and Toni Storm's departure proves it. This fabulous worker in her mid-20s has chosen not to walk under Vince's umbrella.

A celebrated talent with all the potential in the world craves better, and Storm will absolutely get it regardless of where she ends up. Other wrestlers in WWE will see that happen. She'll go on to smash it in AEW - she'd be a great addition to any company's roster, to be honest, but Tony Khan's group seems the most likely.

Here's something else WWE won't want to admit: Vince McMahon’s insular kingdom has repelled another dead cert star. They did so with criminal booking, woeful presentation and by sticking to a system that tears a worker's credibility to shreds rather than bolstering it.
