10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Toni Storm

6. The 'Gushing Groupie' Tease

This wasn't a missed opportunity as much as a dodged bullet.

After making her return to TV, Storm started appearing in sporadic backstage promos with the likes of Dolph Ziggler. Though these segments didn't outright say it, "lady killer" Dolph was trying to charm Toni and woo her. Unfortunately for him, the "80s wild child" much preferred Rick Boogs.

When asked for her thoughts on the Boogs/Shinsuke Nakamura duo, Storm gushed over Ricky baby like some little fangirl who just couldn't believe she was lucky enough to share a locker room with him. This was unbelievably sh*te, and it was clear that WWE didn't give a hoot how Toni was coming across.

Her 'Gushing Groupie' recasting turned out to be short-lived. Thank God for that, because Storm's main roster run could've burned out even quicker had she been asked to tickle Boogs' moustache or play air guitar alongside he, Naka and Pat McAfee every Friday.
