10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 30

7. The Divas' Title Match Was A Heat Sink

AJ Lee was the longest-reigning Divas' Champion in history heading into WrestleMania XXX, but rather than give her a program that built to a heated match, WWE decided to stick every diva in the company's employ on the card. The result was the Vickie Guerrero Invitational, where 14 women competed to a single fall and the winner came away the champion. Unfortunately, the placement of the match was such that the fans simply didn't care about it. Only minutes earlier, The Undertaker had suffered a defeat at the hands of Brock Lesnar, and the reeling crowd were still in shock. The bout wasn't a chance for the divas to make an impact, it was simply a buffer between Undertaker's historic loss and the main event, with the company hoping that the audience would be back into the action by the time the WWE Title match started. The fact that the 14 women were given only seven minutes to perform is proof that they weren't meant to deliver an impressive bout.
