10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 30

5. The Beginning Of Bray Wyatt's Downfall

The Wyatt Family was a breath of fresh air when they debuted in the summer of 2013, and an ensuing feud with Daniel Bryan proved that not only could leader Bray command a crowd, but he could hold up his end of a classic wrestling match. When he started feuding with John Cena prior to WrestleMania XXX, many fans believed that a new WWE superstar was about to be created. Maybe even, with The Undertaker's career winding down, Wyatt would be the company's new supernatural draw. Wyatt met his match in the form of the multi-time WWE Champion, though. Cena cleanly pinned him after an AA, and while the match was good, it was the first loss of Wyatt's career. It halted his momentum, and the rest of the feud (which saw Wyatt score a baffling win with help from a "demon child" in a cage match, then saw Cena finish the program with a last man standing victory) made it clear that "The Eater of Worlds" was not about to take up residence in the main event anytime soon. Since then, Wyatt's career has stalled. He's lost major feuds with The Undertaker and Roman Reigns, and he's showed no real character growth. Bray Wyatt's depressing decline can all be traced to WrestleMania XXX.
