10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 30

4. Another Undertaker Streak Ended

Fans were excited when The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar were booked to go one on one at WrestleMania XXX. The match had been briefly teased prior to WrestleMania XXVII, and anticipation had been building up for years. The bout could potentially be as hard-hitting and brutal a brawl as WWE had seen in years. Sadly, the bout didn't live up to expectations. Though Undertaker had stolen the show at WrestleMania for years with matches against Shawn Michaels, Triple H, CM Punk, and Edge, this bout wouldn't live up to his previous work. The Phenom suffered a concussion during the early goings, and he blanked out. Lesnar had to lead the lost veteran through a subpar match, and Undertaker had to go to the hospital immediately after it ended. Further hurting the match was the fact that, comically, none of the fans in attendance believed Lesnar had a shot at a win. The stakes felt lower than they actually were, and audience reaction during the contest was muted. Everything combined to make for a boring 25-minute bout that wasn't worthy of either man or the event.
