10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 37

6. So Did Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan as co-host of 'Mania 37 seemed like a bad idea on paper.

That's true whether you love or loathe the legend. Further, it became obvious straight away on Saturday night that he and Titus O'Neil had less chemistry than the average thrown-together tag-team on Raw. Their speaking segments, though minimal (at least in front of the live crowd) were useless.

O'Neil is an excellent ambassador for WWE, but he's hardly some returning megastar with red hot mic skills. As for Hogan, well...some will never like him ever again. There's almost nothing he or his employer can do about that - peeps have a bad taste in their mouths due to prior comments, and no amount of nostalgia can offset that in 2021.

Hogan was booed heavily any time he dared utter a line over the weekend. Plus, his backstage skits with O'Neil, the nWo, Eric Bischoff and the constantly-interfering Bayley gobbled up air time for no reason. This guest host gig was a major miss.
