10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 41
6. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Crashed
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin showing up at WrestleMania 41 to announce the official attendance should’ve been a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Instead, it turned into a moment WWE hopes doesn't turn into a lawsuit.
Austin made his entrance in classic fashion—revving down the ramp on his ATV. The problem? He went the wrong way. After a confused loop around the stage, he finally made it to ringside… where things got worse. Much worse.
In a moment that had fans gasping, Austin lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the barricade—knocking over a fan in the front row. Security rushed in, and in a surreal twist, Nick Khan himself was spotted checking on the visibly shaken fan.
Austin got in the ring and said the attendance figure like nothing happened, then spoke to the fan on his way out, leaving the ATV parked in the same place he abandoned it. Bizarrely, this one hasn't been scrubbed from Netflix yet; you can still watch it now.
Regardless, WWE wants you to remember the glass shattering... not the part where Austin nearly shattered someone’s ribs.
