10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 41

2. ... But Travis Scott Was There

WrestleMania 41’s main event was meant to be historic. What fans got instead was a baffling celebrity interference that left a sour taste in just about everyone’s mouth.

Midway through the match, Travis Scott made his way to ringside. Not to perform. Not to hype the crowd. But to interfere. Yes, really.

As Cody looked poised to win, Scott yanked the referee out of the ring, stopping the count and shifting the momentum. Rhodes responded with a Cross Rhodes to the rapper, but the damage was done. Moments later, Cena struck Cody with the title belt and sealed the win—thanks in no small part to Scott’s involvement.

Fans were furious. Social media exploded with confusion and frustration. Why was Travis Scott, of all people, the deciding factor in one of the most important matches in WWE history?

It was a baffling decision, especially with fans expecting The Rock, and no doubt it won't make the Cena highlight reel package when he retires. Awful stuff.
