10 Things You Didn't Know About Corey Graves
2. His Brother Is Also A Pro Wrestler
Corey Graves isn't the only member of the Polinsky family trying to forge out a living in professional wrestling. Graves' younger brother is none other than Sam Adonis, currently a major heel in Mexico's CMLL promotion. Adonis was trained by Graves and made his debut in 2008. Eager to make his own way in the business, Adonis headed to Europe in 2011 to try and make a name for himself.
It was whilst in Europe that he began to be known as Sam Adonis, and though he wasn't able to make himself a major name he more than held up his end of the pro wrestling bargain for over five years. In 2016, Adonis moved on to work full time in Mexico, and the bizarre political situation in the USA gave him an opportunity to take his narcissistic character and turn it into something else completely.
Sam Adonis became pro-Donald Trump, a gimmick that might get an individual over with the McMahons but will also guarantee major heel heat south of the border. Adonis took this further, donning tights similar to those worn by future WWE Hall of Famer 'Ravishing' Rick Rude, only with Donald Trump's face airbrushed onto them.
Needless to say Adonis has been getting major reactions ever since, with some saying he may well be the most hated man in Mexican pro wrestling today.
