7. He Has Played A Rosebud

No matter how much experience you have, or how many years you've been in the business, when you get your first chance in WWE, it might just be to play a giant hamburger.

In his interview with Chris Jericho on his podcast, Ellsworth revealed how the first time he ever appeared on WWE TV was to play one of Adam Rose’s Rosebuds. He ended up being called back a couple times just to play the same role. It wasn't an incredibly hard gig to land, as indy wrestlers who were within driving distance of the show had the same opportunity, but it ended up paying out big time for him.

Ellsworth chose to play the burger, and revealed that the talents themselves got to choose how they were going to dress for the entrance by picking out their outfit from a big trunk backstage.

An interesting note is that Ellsworth’s first opponent, Braun Strowman, also made his WWE debut as a Rosebud. That makes two people who were only a small part of the act who ended up lasting longer than the man the gimmick was built around!
