5. He Likes To Have Sex Before Fights

Though it's not clear where the concept originated from, for whatever reason, there's a commonly held belief in the combat sports world that having sex leading up to a fight is a bad thing.

Reduced testosterone, decreased aggression, and a lack of energy are just a few of the side-effects associated with making love before waging war. That being said, the science supporting this idea is flimsy at best.

Still, famed boxing trainer Freddie Roach has gone on record as saying he asks his fighters to avoid hanky-panky leading up to a fight.

Moreover, former Bellator champ Emanuel Newton even went so far as to claim that having sex a few hours before a fight caused him to ultimately lose the bout.

However, Conor McGregor is not among the fighters who subscribe to the theory. In fact, he once told talk show host Conan O'Brien that he has 'as much sex as possible' leading up to fight night.
