10 Things You Didn’t Know About Stephanie McMahon

6. She Appeared On NBC's "The Weakest Link"

In 2001, reality game shows had taken the United States by storm. "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire," hosted by Regis Philbin, had been a huge hit so NBC countered with "The Weakest Link," an American update to a highly successful British program, it brought NBC some solid ratings.

Building upon the relationship Vince McMahon and WWE had with the broadcasting company dating back to the days of Saturday Night's Main Event. Eager to capitalize on both the popularity of the show and his own company, McMahon struck a deal to have his Superstars featured on a special episode of the show.

Among the Superstars and Divas participating on that broadcast? Stephanie McMahon. Still playing the role of the Billion Dollar Princess, she surprised fans by showing some very strong intellect and even made it to the final two competitors...before being defeated by her husband, Triple H.

Finishing second was nothing to be ashamed of. On one night, Stephanie shed the label of ditzy daddy's girl and proved to a huge audience that she was not some bimbo getting by on her last name. She was smart, confident and more than capable of handling herself in a high-pressure situation.
