9. His WrestleMania IX Match With Kamala Was Canned
One year earlier, at WrestleMania IX in Las Vegas, Bam Bam was scheduled to take on the cannibal character Kamala at Caesar's Palace. Just hours before the event began, both men were informed that their bout wouldn't be taking place due to time constraints, something which must have frustrated them. Bigelow had just returned, hoping to play a huge part in the main event scene throughout 1993 as a heel, so it must have been perplexing when company officials told him that his first WrestleMania back in the promotion would see him doing nothing but sitting and watching the show - it was an auspicious start back with the WWF for Bam Bam. Bigelow vs. Kamala wasn't the only match affected, Razor Ramon's encounter against the veteran Bob Backlund was stripped down by a fair few minutes, making the match effectively resemble a squash style bout. The actual fans in attendance would have likely enjoyed Bam Bam vs. Kamala a lot more than being introduced to 'Julius Caesar' and 'Cleopatra' at the beginning of the show.
