8. A Young Bret Hart Teamed With Hulk Hogan in Japan

Hart and Hogan couldn't have been farther apart career-wise in early 1984. Hogan was days removed from winning his first WWF Championship, and was seeing his profile elevate rapidly. Meanwhile, 26-year-old Hart was still trying to make it big, headlining for father Stu's Stampede Wrestling. Together, they would join several other North American talents on a tour of New Japan Pro Wrestling in January and February 1984. On February 6, the future cornerstones of the McMahon Empire, diametrically-opposed standings in the business aside, teamed together in a loss to Tatsumi Fujinami and Akira Maeda in the city of Hachinohe. Two nights later, they teamed with the recently-departed Iron Mike Sharpe, losing to Fujinami, Maeda, and Kengo Kimura in Hekinan.
