Even now, Cody Rhodes dusts off a copy of Zelda: A Link To The Past whenever he gets the chance. At least once per year, the WWE star will sit down and spend some quality time with what has become his favourite video game ever. The Nintendo classic is even something Cody has talked to the developers about, providing an interview for Nintendo in 2009. In various other interviews, he has noted that the SNES has long been his preferred system of choice. However, he does keep up with more modern consoles, and says that playing games enables him to relax when he's not on the road. It's often easy for wrestling fans to forget that the names they see each week on television are real people, folks who enjoy many of the same things they do, one of which is a bit of video game entertainment. For Rhodes, video games have even been incorporated into his WWE act. When he first showed up on Raw in 2007, Cody's boots were emblazoned with the 'tri force' symbol synonymous with the Zelda franchise. He has noted that he's a fan of other Zelda titles, but A Link To The Past remains the one that he keeps coming back to even today.
