On an episode of TNA's Impact Wrestling in early-2011, Doug Williams wrestled Hernandez in a routine TV-style match. Backstage, there were deliberations over what move the Mexican star should use as his new finisher. Unable to come up with anything new, Doug then told him just to use the Border Toss move he had been using previously.

That almost proved costly, because Hernandez performed the move recklessly. Throwing Williams through the air without any real care, the Brit then came down hard on his neck and the bump looked nasty. Luckily, Williams wasn't injured, but he was more than a little upset about the carelessness of his peer.

Telling WrestleTalk TV about the bump, Doug said he considered getting back to his feet after being pinned and getting into Hernandez's face. His professionalism took over though, and he thought better of breaking character.

Once he retreated to the back, Doug was forced by TNA management to undergo various concussion tests and other medicals, because they were sure he had been hurt. Williams hadn't, something he repeatedly told Terry Taylor, but the official wanted to be 100% sure.
