What a dream match this would have been. Despite being in the company together for several years, Eddie and HBK never crossed paths in the ring. Had they have done so, the results would have no doubt been magic.

The Eddie versus Michaels feud was pitched shortly before Eddie passed aware and was to see Eddie as a heel (naturally) taking on Shawn in a feud that would highlight their similar career paths and styles and no doubt feature some spiritual references, given the fact that both men were noted born again Christians.
