4. Defeated Drew Galloway To Become ICW World Heavyweight Champ

November 15, 2015 will forever be regarded as one of the biggest nights in Scottish (if not British) wrestling history. Packing the place out, ICW crammed over 4,000 fans into the SECC for their Fear & Loathing VIII show. The card was a huge one, and included a special appearance from WWE legend Mick Foley.

In the main event, Grado defeated Drew Galloway to win the ICW World Heavyweight Title for the first time in his career. Without hyperbole, the pop was huge when Galloway's shoulders were counted to the mat, and Foley endorsed Grado after the match had concluded.

The bout is available to watch via ICW's On Demand service, and is very much worth the price of admission. There was a sense of elation when Grado bagged the belt, because thousands of fans had been on a journey with him for years.

Genuinely emotional after the win, Grado looked like he couldn't believe that he'd gone from underdog laughing stock to World Champion of a company he had long since admired.
