9. A Major WWE Win
In that nine-month stint with the WWE, Ivelisse never made
it to the main roster. Much of her time was spent with FCW, as well as a
handful of run-outs in NXT.
But despite the limited air time, and her relatively short-lived stay, she still managed to pick-up a major win over a former Divas Champion. And not only that, this is a former Divas Champion who still to this day is one of the better workers in the company.
The woman in question was Natalya, who had made her way down to NXT for a rare match against Ivelisse—at the time known as Sofia Cortez. And against all odds, it was Ivelisse who scored the victory.
Admittedly it came via a count out, and it was a count out that Natalya brought upon herself after refusing to get back in the ring when she very easily could have. But still, let’s take nothing away from Ivelisse, in what proved to be her penultimate NXT appearance.
