10 Things You Didn't Know About Liv Morgan

7. She Didn't Work The Indy Scene

After the backyard wrestling bug faded, Liv didn't try wrestling at all.

She wasn't someone WWE scouted from the indy scene and recruited for NXT. Instead, Morgan was an occasional model who worked cheerleading competitions and sculpted her body in the gym. WWE spotted her at Joe DeFranco's gym in New Jersey, and it was then-boyfriend Enzo Amore who helped her set up a tryout.

Liv skipped the grind of independent wrestling completely and jumped straight to WWE's in-house training regime at the Performance Center. That's something anyone who enjoys her work should remember; WWE moulded Morgan from the ground up. She had no real wrestling experience beyond backyards before signing.

It's one little-credited aspect of WWE's PC that they're able to nurture fresh talent without plundering the indy circuit at all. Liv is a class example of that, and she's noted in interviews how zero experience elsewhere meant zero bad habits.
