10 Things You Didn't Know About Mandy Rose
8. Being A Role Model
In an interview with Sean Kim, Rose commented on an experience with a patient while studying Speech-Language Pathology at University. She describes what it was like to be working with someone with the inability to speak, and how creating a bond with that person was vital to their rehabilitation.
This stuck with Mandy, and one of the highlights of working with WWE is the community work the superstars get involved in. Not only does the Golden Goddess partake in Make A Wish and Be A Star activities, but she also visits schools in her local area.
She has nieces and nephews who are in elementary school, and Rose frequently visits to give talks on aspirations and self-belief. In WWE’s My Daughter is a WWE Superstar, Rose said that not only does she enjoy being a role model for younger viewers, but it is also something she takes very seriously.
When it is time for Mandy Rose’s in-ring career to wind down, which doesn’t seem likely for some time, it is very likely that she will return to speech and language therapy to continue to help others in need.
