10 Things You Didn't Know About Pat Patterson

3. The Third Most-Watched Segment In Raw History

Bizarrely, Pat Patterson was involved in a match that still stands to this day as the third most-watched segment in the history of WWE Raw.

Number one on that list? Steve Austin vs. the Undertaker on the June 28, 1999 edition of Raw.

Number two on that list? Steve Austin, the Rock and Vince McMahon vs. Triple H, the Undertaker and Shane McMahon on the May 10, 1999 edition of Raw.

Number three on that list? Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco vs. the Mean Street Posse on that same May 10, 1999 Raw.

Obviously, one of those matches is not like the other two, but Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Pete Gas, Joey Abs and Rodney can proudly lay claim to some ridiculous viewing figures. To be precise, that tag team bout popped an insane 8.61 quarter hour rating.

Of course, some would point out how many people had tuned in for this Stooges vs. Posse battle ahead of the show's blockbuster six-man main event that had Shawn Michaels as the special referee. Still, it's crazy that Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco coming to the ring while Hulk Hogan's Real American theme played did such an insane number.
