10 Things You Didn't Know About Rosey
5. After WWE, He Signed With All Japan Pro Wrestling...
Following his release from WWE, Anoa'i started working for All Japan Pro Wrestling under the name RO'Z. Initially, he was part of the Roughly Obsess and Destroy stable, a group of heel foreigners that included D'Lo Brown, Taiyo Kea, and - during his time out of WWE - Jamal. While part of the group, Anoa'i took on legends like Minoru Suzuki and Keiji Mutoh.
Eventually, Anoa'i would leave the group and join the Voodoo Murders stable, forming a tag team with Suwama (who would become the most prolific Triple Crown champion of the 21st century). As part of Voodoo Murders, RO'Z never won any titles or tournaments, but he came close. On October 29, 2006, he unsuccessfully challenged Minoru Suzuki for the Triple Crown Title. In December of that year, he and Suwama won their block of the Real World Tag League tournament, but fell in the finals to Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima. Finally, on February 17, 2007, he and Suwama were defeated by Kea and Toshiaki Kawada in a bout for the vacant AJPW World Tag Team Titles.
