10 Things You Didn't Know About Tazz

7. Didn't Want To Wrestle At ECW One Night Stand

By the time the 2006 version of the WWE-promoted 'ECW' One Night Stand event came around, Tazz had long been finished as an active pro wrestler. Since pretty much hanging up his boots in 2001, the guy had returned sporadically for short runs, only to find out that he was far more comfortable behind the announce desk. Injuries had piled up for the 'Human Suplex Machine', and he was known to resist the tempting offers from WWE to return to the ring on numerous occasions. The one time he did agree to make an in-ring appearance was at the aforementioned 2006 One Night Stand Pay-Per-View, but only on the basis that his match with Jerry Lawler was as brief as it could be. In fact, Tazz didn't even want to work an actual match, he simply wanted to stroll to the ring and choke out Lawler with the Tazzmission. So, this is exactly what happened, and the entire 'match' only lasted for a little over 30 seconds. As short as it was, the live crowd still popped, clearly delighted to see the move once more.
